VBCF mourns the passing of Cynthia Armstead, a dedicated and beloved member of our Hampton Roads Chapter. Cynthia’s commitment to our mission and her community was unwavering. She served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Hampton Roads Chapter for many years, beginning in 2007. Her steady leadership and tireless contributions played a vital role in the chapter’s impact and success.

Cynthia’s passion for service extended far beyond VBCF. She was a devoted community activist, a lifelong public servant, and an active member of several organizations that enriched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication.
