The chapters of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation play an invaluable role in supporting VBCF’s mission to educate and advocate for the eradication of breast cancer.
The Peninsula chapter has been active in spreading awareness about breast cancer and in educating their community on the facts about breast cancer since 1993. While they participate in a wide range of activities, the following are some examples of the Peninsula chapters’ efforts:
- Annual Fashion Show
- Annual Golf Tournament
- Health Fairs
- Speakers Bureau Presentations
- Pink Ribbon Campaign
- State & National Lobby Days
